CHRISTMAS ON 5th STREET
This traditional Baylor event "lights up" in December on 5th Street. The Place 2BU and KOT presented the Annual
KOT Christmas Tree Lighting as well as a FREE concert by Ed Cash and Matt Wertz. It may not have been a white
Christmas, but the holiday spirit rang true in the air as we celebrated the true joy of the season.

CATTLE DRIVE
Built around the UT football game, this event was designed to provide fun, free entertainment to the students and community.
With over 4,000 people in attendance, this event was a success. From a cowboy dress-up contest, to BU branding, we had
it all. There was a total of 6 student organizations who helped to cosponsor. Check out some of the pictures below.
ACOUSTIC CAFE
A new program this year, Acoustic Cafe is designed to promote Baylor's student talent. Currently, we have 3 seperate
performances in the Spring, but are looking to increase the number due to popular demand! Some of these students are
just starting out and others have been able to record CD's already. Acoustic Cafe is the perfect, intimate
venue that allows each artist/band to gain crowd exposure.

SLIME NIGHT
This traditional Baylor event was brought back to life in 2004! Starting in the 1930's new Baylor students (called
slime) would be given caps during welcome week. The students would wear their caps in order to be distinguisehd from
the rest of Baylor. Students would write their name and graduation year on the under side of the caps bill. Ask
any Baylor alumni-chances are they have their slime cap proudly displayed!
